Telling Life’s Stories Through Beautiful Ceremonies

For me, the heart of every ceremony lies in the story. I love the process of listening, writing, and weaving a narrative that truly reflects the person or couple at its centre — from the first hello to the final goodbye.

One of the things I’m most proud of is being able to really capture someone’s personality, to find what makes them them, and let that shine through in the ceremony. Whether I’m writing a eulogy, vows, or a wedding script, the words feel like they truly belong to the people they’re about.

Hellos

Saying “I do!”

Combining creativity, warmth and a good sense of humour, making it easy for me to connect with people and deliver celebrations that feel truly personal.

Before becoming a celebrant, I spent decades as an auctioneer and founder of Boningtons Auctioneers, selling fine art and antiques with flair. It was lively, full of stories, and never dull, much like the ceremonies I now create.

I’m calm, confident and naturally PEOPLE-FOCUSED, connecting easily with families, couples and communities. I have a natural ability to read the room, guide the moment and bring everything together with clarity and care, bringing a strong sense of flow, structure and presence to the day. Combining creativity, warmth and a good sense of humour makes it easy for me to connect and deliver celebrations that feel truly personal.

I’m also involved with the Oddfellows as a social organiser, helping to bring people together through inclusive, uplifting events, and I host The Pool at The Hall, a welcoming wellbeing space in the Essex countryside.

I’ve always loved performing and public speaking, blending everything I value with EMPATHY, CONNECTION and PRESENCE. With a background in Event Management, Marketing, and a natural gift for working with people, I bring a polished, seamless flow to every ceremony.

If something matters to you, it WILL matter to me,

and I’ll craft a ceremony that proves it.
